LACUNA COIL: Tilburg In-Store Appearance Cancelled

October 18, 2006

Unfortunately, the in-store gig that LACUNA COIL had planned for this afternoon (Wednesday, October 18) at the Sounds shop in Tilburg, The Netherlands has been cancelled for undisclosed reasons, according to Aardschok Online. However, the band's concert tonight in club 013 in Tilburg will go on as scheduled. The showtimes are as follows:

20.00 – 20.35 GOTHMINISTER
20.50 – 21.35 POISONBLACK
22.00 – 23.30 LACUNA COIL

LACUNA COIL will release "Closer" — the third single off "Karmacode" — this month via Century Media Records.

The radio mix and edit of "Closer" was overseen by Brian Malouf. The accompanying live tracks were recorded at The State Theatre in St Petersburg, FL on March 20, 2006 by Mark Prator of Red Room Recorders and were mixed and mastered by Tom Morris at Morrisound Recording. Also included on the commercial version of the single is the video for "Closer", which was directed by Zach Merck and Nathan Cox of Fort Awesome (MARILYN MANSON, DISTURBED, THE RASMUS, STAIND).

As previously reported, LACUNA COIL has been nominated in the "Best Italian Act" category at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006, set to take place November 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The band is inviting fans to vote for the group at this location. Once you've entered the main page, choose "Italy" and vote for LACUNA COIL.
